For my beloved wife, companion, and best friend for life,

Linda Sandra Mint

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Linda Sandra Mint, of Mt Holly, North Carolina, on July 1, 2021, at the age of 72.

Linda was born Nov.15, 1948, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She was the oldest of 6 children where she grew up there and in North Vancouver and Port Coquitlam.

Linda is survived by her loving husband Dr. John Fritz; her mother, Marianne Robinson; her sisters, Joyce and Gail (Dave) and "honorary sister" Wendy and by brothers: John (Karen) and Bruce (Jane), and her many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews (Melissa, Debbie, Sarah, Steven, Trevor, Brittany, Markus, Alexis, Lindsay, and David; Great aunt to Alexander, Ethan, and Logan).

She is predeceased by Milton Robinson (stepfather) and her beloved brother, David Wood and her three treasured Springer Spaniels (aka her kids, Alexander, Buddy, and Jackson).

She was a graduate of the University of British Columbia where she was a distinguished honor student earning her bachelor's degree in health sciences (Dietician). Her professional journey took her through being a Dietician at Vancouver General Hospital and Trail Regional Hospital. Later she became the Head Dietician at Children's Hospital in Vancouver eventually becoming the Head Dietician at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Linda returned to school at The University of Maryland where she completed an Executive Masters Certificate of Professional Development - Management Information Systems in 1989 then, going on to become a distinguished and lauded Professional National Recruiter for several companies who recognized her for her exemplary accomplishments in the companies' successes.

Throughout her life she was an extraordinarily loving, kind, caring, and altruistically generous person who was a loyal and selfless friend to all she knew and met and an "organizer extraordinaire." Loved and respected by so many both at work and play.

Throughout her whole life, she was an avid reader who also loved cooking and lavishly entertained family and countless friends during the holidays and special occasions. Linda kept herself active by being a devoted swimmer and taking many walks each week. She was also involved in volunteering and contributing to many charities and animal recuses.

A service will be held at a later date at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2850 Dry Valley Road, Kelowna, B.C. Canada V1V 2K1
