Winifred Neal Revels, Sr.

Winifred N. “PeeWee” Revels, Sr., 82, of Gastonia passed away December 27, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Revels was born on March 26, 1934 in Gaston County to the late Clyde and Blanche Robinson Revels. He is also preceded by a daughter Bobbie Jean Revels, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.  He was a past member of Flint Groves Baptist Church in Gastonia. “PeeWee” Love to fish, camping at the beach as well as the mountains. He was a machinist by trade but loved lawn mower repair at home. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Bobbie Taylor Revels. Children; Sandra DiBari and husband Lawrence, Linda White and husband Jerry, Kay Brotzman and husband Bill, Winifred Neal Revels, Jr. and wife Shirley, Donna Harris and husband Daniel, Warren Byrd and wife Mary and William Revels and wife Cathy.  20 grand, 22 great and 4 great-great grandchildren. Memorial Services to celebrate his life will be 1:00 Friday December 30 at Benson Funeral Chapel in Mt. Holly with Deacon Buddy Jones officiating. Inurnment will be private.
