William "Woody" C. Woody

William "Woody" C. Woody, Sr., 72, of Gastonia died July 31st at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Mr. Woody was born in Jefferson County, TN on June 2, 1941 to the late Mitchell and Maudie Baker Woody. He was a metal fabricater in the textile industry and was preceded in death by his wife Velma Hall Woody.

Survivors include his children; Kelly Snider, William "Rocky" C. Woody, Jr., Lamar Shane Woody and Denise Campbell. Sister Ann Sisk and a brother Charles Baker. 10 grand and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services is being held by the family at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 10th at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 1326 East Cedar Ave, Gastonia with Rev. Terry Gibson officiating.
