William "Bill" Long

William "Bill" Long, 72, of Mt. Holly, NC died June 22, 2013 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia with his loving family by his side. Mr. Long was born September 4, 1940 in Rutherford County to the late Sammy and Dessi Long. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. He was also preceded by his wife Frances Long and six siblings.

Survivors include his 2 daughters Tracey Wright and partner Crystal Smith of Mt. Holly, NC and Annette Bryant and husband Jason of Spindale, NC. 4 grandchildren, Becky, Brittney, Jacob and Kayleigh. First wife Kay Green and best buddy Wilbur Green.

Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, June 26 at Benson Funeral Services with Reverend Amick officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanley. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
