William Timothy Jones

William Timothy Jones, 69, of Gastonia passed away August 1, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  He was born on November 13, 1950 to the late William and Virginia Moore Jones.  William was a U.S. Army Veteran.  He was an active member of Chapel Grove Church of God.  In his spare time, he loved working on all makes and models of cars.  He was a previous mechanic for Southern Imports and later retired from Charlies Auto Services.  William was a loving father and grandfather.

Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Billie H. Jones; daughter, Angela Jones; son, Edward Jones and wife Danielle; and grandchildren, Logan Jones, Braedon Jones, Tiler Jones, and Alley Jones.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Grove Church of God with Rev. Jody Freeman officiating.
