Wilbur Lavon Green

Wilbur Lavon Green, 76, of Mt. Holly passed away June 20, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.  He was born in Lake Butler, Fl. on November 22, 1941 to the late Jacob and Myrtle Green.  He is also preceded in death by sons, Ronald Lavon Green and Joseph "Joe" Travis Green Sr.; brother, J.C. Green; and loving father and mother in law, Bill and Louise Harris.  Wilbur loved being outdoors and fishing.

Wilbur is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kay Harris Green; son, Kevin Duane Green and wife Kim; daughter, Tina Green Woods and husband Matt; daughter in law, Anita Green; step daughter, Tracey Leigh Wright and partner Crystal; sisters, Margaret Franks and Sue Rogers; brothers, Ralph Green and William Green; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Wilbur's life will be held Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly with Rev. Mike Pittman officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Inurnment will be private.
