I met Wilbur over 10 years ago and when I got to talking with him he seemed familiar. As we began to speak to each other it was as if we were old buddies that hadnt talked in several years. I noticed that he had a kind spirit right away, humor way sprinkled in at the appropriate places while we visited.
I never heard a fowl word come from him or any condescending actions in the way he presented himself. Just a real good down to earth kind of guy. He was proud of his family and spoke well of them. I could tell he was a man who had faith in God. He talked freely about his beliefs and showed respect for others.
His health had been a concerning issue over the last few years, but Wilbur kept on going the best he could. This world could use more people like him and he will surely be missed. Enjoy your rest Wilbur, when I see you again we can catch up on each other like we did the first time.
