Wayne Emerson Liddell

Wayne Emerson Liddell, 87, of Mt. Holly passed away June 1, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Mr. Liddell was born May 18, 1929 in Florence County, Wisconsin to the late William and Lillian Bauer Liddell. He is also preceded by wife Mildred Alice Liddell. Daughter, Stella Sipes and 5 brothers Freeman, Orville, Clarence, Russell, and Harold Liddell and 4 sisters, Henrietta Liddell, Leona Liddell Schabel, Gladys Liddell Schafer, and Vivian Liddell Sturman.  Mr. Liddell was active and enjoyed small engine repair, woodworking, construction, cooking and gardening which included vegetables and flowers.

Survivors include daughter Kimberly Phillips and also 9 stepchildren. Grandson Tarl Thomas and great grandchildren Bastien and Spencer Thomas. Several nieces and nephews and his 4 grand kitties and 1 grand dog.

Services will be held privately by the family.
