Wanda "Jaynie" Britt

Wanda "Jaynie" Jane Britt, 65, of Gastonia passed away March 1, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Gaston County on October 24, 1955 to the late Hardy L. Deaton and Betsy Elmina Britt and raised by the late Andrew Jackson and Nora Jane Carver Britt.  Jaynie attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gastonia.  In her spare time, she enjoyed genealogy, fishing, photography, the beach, and making wedding cakes.

Survivors include her daughter, Betsy Poarch; sister, Alice Gooley and husband Bruce; and 3 grandchildren, Madison Poarch, Logan Poarch, and Liam Poarch.
