In Loving Memory of Victoria Rose Leger
September 16, 1958 – September 28, 2024.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Victoria Rose Leger, who left this world tragically at the age of 66. Her life was a story of epic love, woven with deep bonds, cherished memories, and moments of joy. She lived a life that many would dream of—a tale of devotion, adventure, and the kind of love only found in fairytales.
From the moment she met her beloved Mitchell, their love story was nothing short of extraordinary. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, compassion, and an unshakable bond that transcended the ordinary. Their love was a guiding light for their family, and together they created a beautiful legacy, raising their sons and doting on their grandchildren, who were the treasures of Victoria’s heart.
Victoria was more than a devoted wife and mother; she was a radiant soul who brought warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered. Whether she was riding her horse, or simply sharing a quiet moment with loved ones, her presence was always enchanting, and she loved with all of her heart. She had a way of making the world around her feel magical, and her love for her family was like something out of a storybook—timeless, pure, and eternal.
Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but the story of her life will continue to inspire and guide those she loved. She is survived by her adoring spouse, Mitchell, her son, Christopher Leger & wife Chrissy, her grandchildren, Caleb, Nick, Ari, Chloe and great-grandson Ezekiel. She was the 2nd eldest of five siblings, Bonnie Beatty (Gary), Jimmy Swanger (Fran), Ronnie Swanger (Kim) and Joann Carroll (Steve) along with many beloved nieces, nephews and friends who were touched by her grace and love.
She now joins her parents, Victor and Margareta Swanger, and her son, Eric Leger in eternal peace. Their reunion in Heaven is a source of comfort for her family, who knows that love transcends even the boundaries of life itself.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Foundation of Opioid Crisis, 110 West 40th St., Suite 400. NY, NY 100018.
