Timothy Scott Jones

Timothy Scott Jones, 44, of Stanley, passed away August 27 in Calabash, NC from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Scott was born July 15, 1971 in Fort Bragg, NC to Jack and Becky Jones. He was a dedicated husband and father and was a wonderful provider to his family. Scott was a joy to be around and was a friend ton anyone he met. His laughter is something that will be missed tremendously. He had such a huge heart and was willing to help anyone in need. From a young age, he always professed a strong love for the Lord and that was shown daily. Scott served our country for six years in the Navy as a corpsman.

Scot is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Kim Jones. Children: Elisabeth, 21; Audrey, 14 and Isaac, 8. Parents Jack and Betty Jones. Siblings; Jack Jones (Ana), Doug Jones (Sundee). Scott was a friend of many and will be greatly missed. Memorial Services to celebrate Scott's life will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday Sept. 1 at Stanley Pentecostal Holliness Church in Stanley with Pastor Eric Chaney and Pastor Danny Penny Officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
