Tammy Lavonne Hester

Tammy Lavonne Hester, a cherished mother, loving sister, aunt, and niece, passed away on October 20, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born on October 23, 1965, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Bobby Eugene Hester and Linda Hepler Hester.

Throughout her life, Tammy was known for her warm heart and nurturing spirit. As a loving mother, she took great pride in raising her sons, Matthew Bryan Hester and Patrick Wayne Hester, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Her love for family extended to her brother, Brian Caldwell; aunt, Vickie Hepler, who she cherished and remained close to throughout her life; nephew, Brian Caldwell Jr.; uncle, Robert Hepler (Patsy); special friends, Corey and Chris Freeman; numerous cousins; and her Fur Baby, Nyla.  She also had a great love for her Fur Baby, Bella that preceded her in death.

Tammy dedicated some of her professional life to serving as a manager at Waffle House, where her leadership and commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on her colleagues and patrons alike. Beyond her career, Tammy had a wide array of interests that brought joy not only to herself but to those around her. She found tranquility in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in cooking for her family and enjoying the sun and surf at the beach.

Tammy's life was a testament to kindness and strength, and her spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories.
