Stanley Eric McPherson, often referred to as "Stan the Man," passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 51. He was born on December 4, 1973, in Wake County, North Carolina, to Hugh and Delores Williams McPherson.

Stanley was a proud veteran, having dedicated four years of his life to serving in the United States Marine Corps. His military service was a testament to his character, reflecting a commitment to duty and his country that he carried with him throughout his life.

Remembered for his warm personality and infectious smile, Stan had a deep love for his family and friends. He leaves behind his loving parents, Hugh and Delores McPherson; his devoted sister, Stephanie McPherson; and his brother, William McPherson, along with his wife Kelly. His nephews, Tyler and his fiance' Ragan and Dyllan McPherson, will also forever cherish their memories with him.

Stan's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, as his spirit touched countless lives throughout his journey. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of calling him family and friend.

A Memorial service to celebrate the life of Stanley will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation following the service at Second Baptist Church, 740 Rankin Ave., Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
