Sig "Blake" Holmes Jr., 74, of Charlotte passed away February 13, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Hospital in Gastonia. Blake was born in Iredell County, NC on August 28, 1946 to the late Sig Blake Holmes Sr. and Mattie Shoemaker Holmes. Blake was a proud Veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed traveling and was a huge lover of all animals and was a caring person to everyone he knew. He is survived by his brother Donald Blake Holmes, sister Brenda Matthews and his loving pet dog Nala. A private burial will be held by his family.
