Shirley Mae Cagle

March 19, 1937 — March 23, 2017

Shirley Mae Cagle, 80, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.
She was born March 19, 1937, to the late Coleman and Dovie Miller Freeman.  Shirley was previously a CNA of Gaston County in Home Health Care.  She loved Elvis, loved sitting on the balcony at the beach watching and listening to the waves, loved cooking, and had a special love for her Grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her Children, Coleman "Coley" Cagle, Mike Cagle and wife Tammy, and Mark Cagle and wife Angel; Sister, Joyce Whitesides; 7 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; and several Step-Grandchildren and Step-Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services to honor Shirley's life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services in Mt. Holly with Rev. Tim Small officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Smith, Mark Cagle, Jason Cagle, Brandon Cagle, Cole Cagle, and Michael Cagle.
