Shirley Joyce Aguirre

Shirley Brazell Aguirre, 76, of Belmont passed away on September 2, 2020 at her residence.  She was born in Lancaster, SC on September 5, 1943 to the late Jack and Joyce Mahaffey Brazell.  Shirley loved visiting the beach, enjoyed cooking, and working in the yard with her flowers.  She especially loved her cat "B.B."

Survivors include her sons, Gil Aguirre and David Aguirre and wife Deborah; Sisters, Carol Baker, CIndy McClure, Linda Woodall, and Darlene Setzer and husband Roger; brother, Donnie Brazell and wife Sheila; Grandchildren, Chris Aguirre and fiance' Chelsea and Asheton Biggerstaff and wife Caitlyn; Great Grandchildren, Chloe and Bentley Biggerstaff.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly with Rev. Kevin Ford officiating.
