Rita Belle Elder

Rita Belle Bourdeau Elder, 74, of Mt. Holly, NC passed away November 20, 2017 at Meadowwood Nursing Center in Gastonia, NC.  Rita was born on February 9, 1943 in Corinth, NY to the late Ralph and LuLu Bourdeau.  She was also preceded in death by her Husband, Donald “Butch” Elder; Brother, Ralph Bourdeau; Sister in law, Sharon Bourdeau; and Brother in law, Robert Butler.  Rita was a wonderful Mother, Sister, and Grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was an amazing cook and spent many years using her cooking talents in the catering business and cooking for her family.  Rita was so full of life and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Rita is survived by her Daughter, Lois Mucci; Son, Donald "Eddie" Elder; Brothers, Rocky Bourdeau, Raymond Bourdeau and wife Anne, George Bourdeau and wife Joanne; Sister, Rose Butler; Sister in law, Edna Bourdeau; 3 Grandchildren, Steven Mucci and husband Matt, Ryan Mucci, and Paul Mucci, Jr.
