Rhonda L. Baker

Rhonda L. Baker, 56, of Bessemer City passed away April 21, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Ms. Baker was born October 4, 1960 in Gaston County to the late James and Mary Black Medford. Rhonda enjoyed the beach and was an avid animal lover, dancing and cooking. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her children Stephen Hardy and wife Lyndi of Gastonia and Brandi Hardy of Bessemer City. Grandchildren Blake, Emma, Will, David and Amber. Stepfather, Rick McLellan and 2 brothers, James Blair Medford and Jeffrey Medford. She is also survived by her loving pet dog "Roscoe". Funeral Services to Celebrate Rhonda’s life will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday April 25 at Bethlehem Church South Campus with Pastor Dickie Spargo officiating. Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Gaston Humane Society, 114 Sherrill Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
