Regina Clark Johnson

January 16, 1956 — March 18, 2020

Regina Clark Johnson, 64, of Gastonia, passed away on March 18, 2020 at Robin Johnson House. She was born in Gastonia on January 16, 1956, the daughter of the late Gary and Ethel Williams Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, whom she loved dearly, Curtis Robert Johnson; a sister, Vicki Croft Smith; grandson, Noah Norman; and feline companion, Jasper. Regina was a very sweet, loving, and compassionate lady with a beautiful soul. She made everyone she met feel welcome and was known as the community mom to all her children's friends. She was an avid swimmer who taught her grandchildren to swim before they could even walk. Regina played softball and was a member of several textile leagues. She always enjoyed riding in the car, even it was just a quick trip down the street. She liked to travel and especially enjoyed visiting the mountains and the beach. She was known to be very spontaneous and very patient. Some of her favorite things included watching the Bounce channel and enjoying a chocolate milkshake from Tony's.

Regina is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Stephanie and Robert Norman; daughter, Veronica Adams; adopted daughter, Beth Fink; sisters & brothers-in-law, Ruth and Lee Wallen, Becki and Mickey Collins; brother, James Adams; grandchildren, Kelcey Adams, Jamie Adams, Chris Adams, Trent Bailey; step grandchildren, Wyatt Norman, Nick Norman; and her feline companion, Stevie.
