Ranson Tarleton

Ranson B. Tarleton, 79, of Charlotte passed away January 13, 2021 at Peak Resources in Gastonia.  He was born on March 25, 1941 to the late Samuel and Mary Hagler Tarleton.  He is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.  Ranson was a dedicated hard working man and a good provider for his family.  In his younger years, he was a farmer but most of his life he was a welder by trade.  He loved his family, his kids, and his grandchildren unconditionally.  "He wasn't just a Daddy but he was a friend."  Ranson will be dearly missed by his family.

Survivors include his son, Randy Tarleton; daughter, Sonya Tarleton; brothers, Donnie Tarleton, Roger Tarleton, and Charlie Tarleton; sisters, Judy Phillips, Joyce Russell, Virginia Shields, and Nancy Johnson; grandchildren, Holly Tarleton, Heather Tarleton, and Cloe Riley; and great grandchildren, Raygen Tarleton, Averie Millsaps, and Hayden Brooks.
