Paul Reed Jackson

July 15, 1947 — February 10, 2022

Paul Reed Jackson of 23 Flowers Court, Belmont, left this crazy world February 10, 2022. He was born on July 15, 1947 in Gaston County to the late Mary Roxie Randolph And Grady “Slim” Jackson. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Ruth “Sissy” Moose Jackson; his sister, JoAnn Jackson Ballard and his brother; Raymond “Doug” Jackson.

Paul was an avid pool and poker player. In his early days he competed in many tournaments across the nation and brought home many titles and trophies. He enjoyed watching football, having a cold beer, shooting a game of pool and living his way of life.  He loved hanging out at Iconz and The Bearded Buffalo. There he made many, many friends that he considered family. He always had a smile on his face, loved his grandkids and never met a stranger. Paul lived his life like everyday was the last and died a happy man.

He is survived by his sons; Christopher Grady Jackson of Troutman and Johnny Ray Jackson (Melondy) of Lowell; his grandson and namesake, Timothy Paul Jackson and his granddaughter; Affectionately known as his Princess, Aliyah Brooke Jackson.
Also a brother, Billy Ray Jackson of Waleska; father-in-law Larry Ray Robinette of Belmont and brothers-in-law; Tony Robinette and Kenny Moose of Belmont and Wayne Moose of Riverview and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Finally the family asks that in honor of Paul you stop by Iconz or The Bearded Buffalo to shoot a round of 9 ball, raise a glass and light one up in his memory.
