Norman Clay Duncan

Norman Clay Duncan, 70, of Stanley, passed away on July 30^th, 2022 at Caromont Regional in Gastonia. He was born on January 13, 1952 to the late Henry Clay Duncan and the late Rosalie Bingham Duncan. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Katherine Duncan; brother, Henry Gary Duncan; and sister, Beverly Duncan. In his spare time, Norman loved watching the Braves games with his son, Chad, reading books, and listening to older country music like George Jones. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include children, Shannon (Colleen) Duncan, Kristin (Wayne) Kirby, and Chad Duncan; son-in-law, Jerry Kirby; 6 grandchildren, Kaytlyn (Quan) Duncan, Trenton Miller, Autumn Duncan, Deanna Kirby, Cameron Kirby, and Kerra Potts; 5 great-grandchildren, Nikius, Nailah, Bella, Avianna, and Mariella; sisters, Charlene Powers and Cheri Rumfelt; and brothers, Keith Duncan, Rex Duncan, Ricky Duncan, and Anthony Duncan.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral and Cremation Services, 101 Oak Grove St, Mt. Holly, NC 28120, officiated by Mike Johnson. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont.
