Nancy Pedersen

Nancy Polk Pedersen, 62, of Stanley, NC and formerly of Inman, SC was called home on Aug 12, 2016 after a long illness. She was born June 6, 1954 in Spartanburg County. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Polk. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Lindy Polk and a niece Hope Leigh Bailey. Nancy loved her grandson and family. She enjoyed shopping, yardwork at her home and loved visiting Gatlinburg, TN. She graduated from Chapman High School. She is survived by her loving husband, James "Jimmy” Pedersen. Also left behind to cherish her memories are a brother, Charles Kim Polk and sister, best friend and caregiver, Mary Anne Polk Bailey; Son, Scott Williams; Grandson, Lindy Scott Williams; Nieces, Hayleigh Polk, Cortney Polk and Ashley Hudson; Great nieces, Alexia Bailey, Adrianna Leigh Bailey, Peyton Hudson and Pressley Pate; Nephews, Corey James Bailey , Josh Pate, Justin Pate, Chad Switzer, Matthew Polk, Cohen Pate, Maverick Pate and her Lifelong friend, Faye Worley. Graveside Services will be Monday Aug. 15 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC at 1:00pm. A family gathering with friends will be Sunday, August 14 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Benson Funeral& Cremation Services in Mt. Holly. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family at Benson Funeral Services, 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
