Nancy Ann Combest

Nancy Ann Combest, 83, of Mt. Holly passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at her residence.  She was born on June 5, 1937 to the late William and Marion Feathers Henley.  She is also preceded in death by 7 of her siblings, Jim Henley, Dorothy Henley, Mary Murray, Dub Henley, Ernie Henley, Minnie Cheatham, and Patsy Oliver.  Nancy was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Gastonia. She enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, and crafting.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Gordon Combest; son, Rick Combest and wife Meranda; daughter, Becki Butler and husband David; sisters, Judy Vanover and husband Junior and Jennie Boggs; granddaughter, Christen Pederson and husband Tylor; great grandchildren, Emma Pederson and Olivia Pederson.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 2200 Auten Rd., Gastonia, NC 28054 with Rev. David MacEachern officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church or to Gaston Hospice.
