Michele "Renee" Dillard Smith

In loving memory of Michele "Renee" Dillard Smith,

Renee, known for her passion for Bingo, camping, cruises, beaches, mountains, and crafting, has bid farewell to this world on June 1, 2024. Her love for all her pets was as boundless as her love for life itself.

Born in Charlotte, NC on September 8, 1964, Michele lived a colorful life filled with cherished moments and unforgettable experiences. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around the love she held for her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Renee leaves behind a legacy that will forever be treasured by her surviving loved ones. Richard Lingerfelt, her devoted husband of over 30 years, will continue to hold her close in his heart. Michele's children Dean Smith and wife Milissa, Leslie Smith, Charles Smith and wife Ronda, and Chris Smith will always remember their beloved mother's warmth and kindness. In addition to her children, she is survived by her brother Travis Dillard. Michele's presence will also be deeply missed by her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held privately on June 15 by her family. Anyone interested may contact any of the family members for details.
