Martin "Blake" Kaufman

Martin “Blake” Kaufman, 37, of Belmont passed away July 25, 2018.  Blake was born on December 7, 1980 to William and Beth Amy Bellar Kaufman.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Martin and Rose Kaufman and maternal grandmother, Lila Bellar.  Blake was a car mechanic and also worked in plumbing and electrical.  In his spare time, he enjoyed visiting and spending time at the New River Gorge in West Virginia. He was also very fluent in several foreign languages.  Blake dearly loved his children and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, William and Beth Kaufman, Blake is survived by his children, Elijah Harrison Kaufman and Abigail Rose Kaufman; grandfather, Martin Bellar; uncles, Timothy Blake Kaufman, Dirk Kaufman, Kenneth Kaufman, David Bellar, and Laurie Childres; aunts, Martina Kaufman, Christina Kaufman, and Helen Demony.

A Memorial service to celebrate Blake’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at McAdenville Wesleyan Church with Rev. Pat Hannon officiating.  Visitation will follow after the service.  Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Animal Humane Society, Donor Services Department, 845 Meadow Lane N, Golden Valley, MN 55422.
