Mark S Buffkin

Mark married the love of his life on January 31,2004. From that union they have a blended family. 

 Chrishana Tarlton and husband ( Brent ) and  Samantha Williams, Carter Buffkin and wife (Megan).

Grandchildren: Brycen, Nathaniel and Alexandria. 

Mark graduated from R.B. Stall High School in Charleston, SC.

He retired in 2020 from Schindler Elevator where he was an Elevator Technician for over twenty  years. 

Of his many hobbies he especially loved cooking, kayaking, sailing, music and sports.

We will remember Mark for his charismatic energy, his smile, his zest for life and as a diehard Gamecock and Carolina Panther fan. He and his wife enjoyed spending time on their Pontoon at Lake Norman, visiting Chimney Rock for a picnic in the park and many walks on Sullivans Island.

He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Mark also was loved by the families sweet dog Gabe.

He is also survived by his brother  James (Jimmy) Buffkin. He also leaves behind a host of cousins and a special friend who was his fathers companion nurse Kristin Clardy and her children.
