Marion K. Sims

Marion K. Sims, 76, of Mt. Holly and formerly of Cherryville, NC, passed away July 24, 2015 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Mr. Sims was born in Clover, SC on April 8, 1939 to the late Marion Wilbur Sims and Lizzie Mae Horne Sims. He was also preceded in death by a son, Eddie Moss and a sister, Nancy Neil and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a loving family man with quick witted humor. He enjoyed photography of outdoor scenery and loved riding his motorcycle in the mountains.

Survivors include his Loving wife of 50 years, Gloria T. Sims. Daughters, Lynn Brown (Danny) and Rebecca Dogan. 3 grandchildren, Austin, Jessica and MacKenzie.

Services will be held at a later date by the family.
