In Loving Memory of Marilyn Sinclair
Marilyn Entzminger Sinclair, born on May 19, 1938 in Columbia, South Carolina, was called to her eternal home on June 12, 2025 at 87 years old.

With heavy hearts and endless love, we celebrate the life of Marilyn Sinclair—a beautiful soul, devoted wife of 69 years, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and dear friend to so many. Marilyn loved deeply and completely, always giving of herself without hesitation. Through a warm meal, a kind word, or simply her comforting presence, she ensured no one ever felt forgotten or went without. Her home was a place of laughter, love, and always—plenty to eat.

She raised not only her own children, but many others who needed love, guidance, or simply a safe place to grow. Her arms were always open, and her heart had room for everyone. With gentle strength and unwavering kindness, she touched countless lives. Her love didn’t stop with people either, as she was a true lover of animals and an avid cat rescuer.

Marilyn’s pride bloomed as brightly as the flowers she so lovingly tended. She found joy in the quiet moments too—feeding and watching the birds from her window, their visits a simple reminder of the beauty and peace she brought to the world. Her happiness was rooted in life’s small wonders: the sound of ocean waves on beach trips, shared stories around the dinner table, and spontaneous adventures that kept her spirit young. She was always ready for the next journey, the next memory, the next moment to make someone feel special.

Her love was generous, her heart open, and her legacy everlasting.

She leaves behind a family rooted in her love and guided by the grace she shared each day. While our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing her spirit lives on—in the lives she touched, the memories she gave us, and the love that will never fade.

She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Sinclair; children Fred Sinclair Jr. (Jeannette) and Pam Cadenhead (Mike); daughter-in-law Lori Sinclair; sister Rosemary Huntley; grandchildren Luke Sinclair (Anna), Jacob Sinclair (Allison), Jesse Cadenhead, Emma Hendley (Jacob), Andrew Sinclair (Kayla), and Catherine Sinclair; and great-grandchildren Wyatt, Everly, Walker, Lucy, Trevor, and Wesley.

She is preceded in death by her parents James Frederick Entzminger and Belle Rose Entzminger; brothers Jim Entzminger and Charles Entzminger; and son David Sinclair.

Forever missed. Forever loved.
