Margie Franklin Kiser

Margie Franklin Kiser, of Mount Holly, North Carolina, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2025, at the age of 80. Born September 21, 1944, in Montezuma, North Carolina, Margie devoted her life to her family and friends.

Margie was a simple woman who found joy in nature and gardening. She shared many gifts from her extensive flower and plant gardens with her treasured family and friends.

Margie is survived by her two sons Bryant (Sonya) and Scott; grandchildren David Kiser (Cordi), Constance Nicks (Travis), Kandace Roe (Tyler); and great-grandchildren, Halston Kiser, Ryder Nicks, and Maverick Nicks. She is also survived by her two siblings, their children, and multiple other special loved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Kiser, and parents Carter and Thelma Franklin.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM Saturday August 30 at Second Baptist Church, 740 Rankin Ave., Mt. Holly with Memorial Services following the visitation at 3:00 PM with Pastor Roger Overton officiating.
