Louise Bumgardner

Louise Huffstetler Bumgardner, 85, of Gastonia passed away November 21, 2016 at the Brian Center in Lincolnton. Ms. Bumgardner was born in Gaston County on February 19, 1931 to the late Alden and Catherine Huffstetler.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Bumgardner; Sister, Catherine Lowery; and Brother, Alden P. Huffstetler, Jr. 

Louise was a member of Ceramics at the Lucille Tatum Center.  She enjoyed going on mission trips and the beach.

Survivors include her five children, Renee Bumgardner of Belmont, NC, Deborah Thompson of Gastonia, NC, Katie Thompson and husband Robert of Gastonia, NC, J.R. Bumgardner of Gastonia, NC, and Brian Bumgardner and wife Jackie of Baker, FL.; Sister, Betty Davis of Lincolnton, NC; 11 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; and 13 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday Nov. 25 at Ranlo Church of God with Rev. Jerry Willard officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30PM-2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Poole, Bryant England, Cameron England, Brian Bumgardner, Allen O’Donoghue, and Dalton Willard. Honorary Pallbearer is Alden Allen.
