Loretta Delois Lloyd

Loretta Delois Lloyd, age 85, passed away Thursday December 20, 2018 in Lynchburg, Va. and formerly of Gastonia, NC. Ms. Lloyd was born in Campbell County, Va. on December 11, 1933 to the late Leonard Childress and Ola Layne Childress. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Allison David Campbell and Alva B. Lloyd, Jr. and also a brother, Leonard Melvin Childress. Loretta was a longtime member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church and was a Medical Aid Tech at Lynchburg Training Center. Loretta loved the mountains, enjoyed traveling and went on several cruises. Survivors include her seven children, Harold C. Estes, Keith A. Estes and wife Norma, Susan M. Hanner and husband Chuck, Cathy L. Evans and husband David, A. David Campbell Jr. and wife Dee, Michael D. Campbell and wife Carrie, Bryan S. Campbell and wife Jennifer, Audrey Floyd and husband Howard. Four sisters, Joyce Campbell, June Nash, Patricia Guthrie and Sandra Jamison and her husband James. 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Memorial Services to Celebrate Loretta’s Life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday December 23 at West Lynchburg Baptist Church, 3031 Memorial Ave., Lynchburg, Va.
