Linda “Sissy” Glenn, 74 of Gastonia passed away February 12, 2021 at her residence. Linda was born on August 5, 1946 in Gaston County to the late Boyce "Bill"  Lee Glenn and Wanda White Glenn. Linda was also known as “Sissy” and was a graduate of Belmont Abby College with a Bachelors’ degree in History. She was born in a family with a long history of military veterans. Her father served as a Marine during WWII and was honored at Arlington National Cemetery. Linda was a US Army Veteran as well as her brothers. She worked at Wix Filters for 20 years before retiring. She loved video games and enjoyed going to casinos. Beside her parents she is preceded in death by her pet dogs Nikki and Scooby, whom she adored. Sissy loved her family and was loyal to everyone she knew and was a very giving person.

Survivors include her brothers Kenneth “Ken” Glenn and wife Elaine and Michael “Kris” Glenn. Nephew Daniel Lee Glenn (Sara), Great nephews and Great nieces, Tyler Daniel Glenn, Kailyn Makenzie Glenn, Savannah Leigh Glenn and Jaxson Colt Glenn. Her very close friend Robin Buchanan and her loving pet Shy Boy.

Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held Thursday, February 25,2021 at the VA National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
