Leoria Bundtzen

Leoria Bundtzen, 90, of Denver, passed away on August 7, 2020 at Old Knox Commons, Huntersville. She was born in Vinson, Indiana on September 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Louis Barns and Catherine Benson Barns. Leoria loved playing Bingo and enjoyed Bingo night each week. She also enjoyed shopping and walking around the mall to window shop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Bundtzen.

Leoria is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Christine Bundtzen of Denver, NC, Mike and Debbie Bundtzen of Manchog, MA; daughter, Carol Plazza of Belleville, MI; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Ronnie Inman of Pickney, MI; grandchildren, Jammie Bundtzen, Crystal Brothers, Justin Bundtzen, Kaitlin Bundtzen, Christopher Bundtzen, Jason Bundtzen, Jennifer Bundtzen, Brice Bundtzen, Faith Bundtzen, Jonathan Manning, and Bella Plazza.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, 3:00 PM, at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mount Holly. Interment will follow at Hollywood  Cemetery, Gastonia.
