Lauren Collins

Lauren Elizabeth Collins, 49, of Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Carolina's Medical Center, Charlotte. She was born in Wilmington, NC on November 29, 1971, the daughter of the late Lonia Rebecca Clark. Lauren loved the beach and was employed with the city of Charlotte, where she was very dedicated to her job. She fought a long and hard battle against cancer. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren.

Lauren is survived by her children, Tara Helms (Raphael Kynard), Taylor Helms (Cody Bosworth), Nicholas Collins, and Patrick Collins; grandchildren, David Christopher Helms II, Jaxson Kynard, Elaina Kynard, Nash Kynard, and Wyatt Cook.
