Larry Bruce Arrendale II

Larry Bruce “Chip” Arrendale II, 41, of Chapel Hill and formerly of Gastonia passed away suddenly on January 16, 2017. Chip was born in Gaston County on September 26, 1975 to the late Larry Bruce Arrendale and Deborah Wells Arrendale McSwain. He was also preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Furr and Marcus Eugene Wells and grandmother Shirley B. Furr. Chip was an “Avid” Tar Heel Fan and enjoyed the beach. Survivors include his sisters: Cindy Ewing and Natasha Arrendale. Grandmother Evelyn Wells. Niece Brianna Lowery and nephew Hayden along with several aunts and uncles and extended family. A Gathering of family and friends to celebrate Chip’s life will be held between 2:00-4:00 PM Saturday January 28 at Benson Funeral Services, Mt. Holly, NC.
