Kenneth "Kenny" Dale Hicks

Kenneth "Kenny" Dale Hicks, 62, of Mt. Holly, passed away May 7, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on July 4, 1959 to the late George Hicks and Bobbie Hudson Hicks.  He is also preceded in death by his brother, Phil Hicks and his sister, Susan Hicks.  Kenny was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired after 26 years.  He was very patriotic and loved bald eagles. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed dirt bikes in his younger years.  Kenny enjoyed to read, especially Louie Lamar books, and enjoyed watching Western movies.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Glenda Mae Hicks; daughter, Lynsey Hicks Purser and husband James Purser; niece, Brittany Hicks; and his pet cat, Thor.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral Services, Mt. Holly with Rev. Kevin Ford officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
