Karl Vallas

Karl Vallas, 77, of Gastonia passed away on February 18, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Hospital. Karl was born on August 4, 1943 in the country of Estonia. He is preceded in death by his mother Leida Undritz. Karl was retired from the City of Charlotte. He was always a gentleman and loved sitting at the beach and watching the waves. He enjoyed reading and loved learning about history. He was an enthusiast about WWII. He collected and made model tanks, battleships or anything pertaining to the military. Karl is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Diana Vallas. Son, David Vallas, daughter Rhonda Britt and his pet dog Daisy. The family will be receiving friends on Monday February 22 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services in Mt. Holly.
