Karen Owens

Karen Joann Owens, 55, of Ranlo, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She was born in Gaston County on January 26, 1966, the daughter of the late Joe Morgan and Joann Biddix Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Vickie Hunter and Melinda Sweetin. Karen loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She always had a caring heart and spent much of her life as a homemaker and caregiver to her husband.

Karen is survived by her husband of 40 years, Danny Dean Owens I; children, Danny Owens II and wife, Alicia, Jameslee Owens and fiancé Brianna; siblings, Sue Morgan, Julie Pealer, Carolyn Beaver; grandchildren, Michael, Noah, Lexi; several nieces and nephews; and her canine companion, Whiskey.

Services will be held privately by the family.
