Kalie Ray Bryson

Kalie Ray Bryson, a bright and spirited young woman, was born on May 21, 2004, in Gaston County, to her parents, Jimmy Bryson and Lacey Lynch. Kalie passed away at the age of 21 on June 14, 2025, leaving a profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Kalie's vibrant personality was evident in all aspects of her life. She found joy in simple pleasures, whether that was the thrill of a roller coaster at Carowinds or the soothing waves at her favorite beach. Kalie's affinity for her favorite color blue, a color that mirrored the clear sky on a perfect day, encompassed her joyful spirit. Her heart was especially tender towards animals, and her faithful companion, Chica, a loving pet dog, was a true reflection of the warmth she brought to those around her.

Known for her enthusiasm and talent, Kalie dedicated her time to gymnastics and dancing, where her grace and determination shone brightly. When she wasn’t physically engaged in her pursuits, she loved to unwind by binge-watching her favorite television series, Grey's Anatomy and Criminal Minds, often sharing her thoughts and favorite moments with family and friends.

Kalie is survived by her parents, Jimmy Bryson and Lacey Lynch; her brother, Kainen Juel Lynch Teague; her great grandmother, Loretta Grigg; and her cherished dog, Chica. Their lives were filled with laughter and love, and they will carry her memory with them forever.

She is preceded in death by a loving circle of family, including her grandmother, Jill Grigg Hargett; her paternal grandmother, Edith Hicks; her great grandfather, Bobby C. Grigg; and her grandfather, Jeffrey Lynch. Though they are gone, their love surrounded Kalie, creating an everlasting bond.

A visitation to honor Kalie’s life will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at Benson Funeral & Cremation, located at 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120 officiated by Rev. Jerry Pennington.
