Julie Denise Holbrooks

Julie Denise Holbrooks, 52, of Charlotte passed away January 2, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on November 26, 1970 to Barbara Haley and the late Harry Haley.  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.  She loved going to church, doing crafts, and coloring.  Her favorite place to be was at the beach looking for seashells and sharks teeth.  Julie loved her family and spending time with them

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 28 years, Gary Lee Holbrooks; sons, Gary Lee Holbrooks Jr. and Christian Holbrooks; siblings, Brian Haley (Lynn) and Shannon Goad (Jody); granddaughter, Amiyah Holbrooks; maternal grandmother, Grace Godwin; mother in law, Carol Holbrooks; sister in law, Diane Callicutt (Gary); brother in law, Richard Holbrooks; aunt, Charlotte Mooney and also special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 3000 Sam Wilson Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214 with Rev. Dr. Gary Berry officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Julie to Liberty Baptist Church, 3000 Sam Wilson Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214.
