Julie Halkom

Julie Halkom, 32, of Cramerton, NC passed away May 3, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Julie was born Sept. 4, 1983 in Gaston County to Danny Halkom and Lynda Adams Halkom. Julie deeply loved and cared for her family.  She enjoyed cooking and was an avid lover of all kinds of music. 

In addition to her parents she is survived by her fiance’ Bryan Johnson. Stepchildren, Brooklyn, Abby and Brynlee Johnson. Sister, Lisa Halkom and neice Elisabeth Billings and “numerous” loving friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial Services to celebrate Julie’s life will be 7:00 PM Friday, May 6 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services in Mt. Holly. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Carolinas Healthcare Foundation Cancer Institute, PO Box 32861, Charlotte, NC 28232.
