Joyce Lee Martin

Joyce Lee Martin, 73, of Cramerton, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her residence.  She was born in Gaston County, NC on July 10, 1942 to the late Sam and Odessa Gulledge Herron.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Evan Martin.

Joyce was a past member of East Clover Church of God.  She worked and retired from Cramerton Country Club.  She loved spending time at the mountains, shopping, and going antiquing.

Survivors include her daughter, Julie Martin Merrill and husband Derek of Cramerton; Brother, Gary Herron and wife Nance of Clover, S.C.; Grandchildren, Karrah, Olivia, and Shelby; Great-Grandchildren, Kyleigh and Madi.

Memorial services to celebrate Joyce's life will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services in Mount Holly with the Revs. Ray Loftis and Pervie Stines officiating.  Visitation will follow the service.  Inurnment will be private.
