Joshua Alec Aguila

Joshua Alec Aguila, 30, passed away on August 23, 2025. Born in Charlotte, NC on February 26, 1995 to Krystallia Aguila and Israel Aguila Jr. Employed by Southeastern Freight Lines in Charlotte, NC as a fork lift driver. He was the best fork lift driver in the country. Josh loved riding motorcycles and loved even more riding his motorcycle on the race track. With his huge sense of humor, he kept everyone laughing! His favorite types of movies were Marvel and D C UNIVERSE, he also loved the cheesy lower rated movies with no name actors. Some of his favorite places to visit were the beach, camping in the mountains, being on the water or just being around family. Music was also a huge part of his life. Cooking is his favorite thing to do, either on the grill or on the stove, it didn't matter, he was a foodie. Being around a fire pit with his loving family and friends was a favorite past time. His grandmother, Rocio, spoiled him with foot rubs that he adored! He'd take all advantages on those foot rubs.Josh enjoyed his four dogs, Ace, Vegas, Phor and Luna with one cat, Daisy, whom were the light of his life. He could never leave a stray animal without helping it in some way. He was the same with people…stopping to help those in need whenever possible. He is survived by his Mother, Krystallia Aguila, Father, Israel Aguila Jr.,brothers, Michael (Devin) Bradford and Alex Aguila (Sarah), nephew Cruz Aguila, niece Alana Bradford, Grandmother Rocio Hidalgo, and Girlfriend, Grace Strohminger. Joshua was very intuitive, loyal to a fault and faithful to all those he loved and cared for. He was a fearless individual who wore his heart on his sleeve. He lived hard and loved even harder! He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Saturday Aug. 30 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, 101 Oak Grove St. Mt. Holly, NC
