Joseph Jarrod Stickle

Joseph Jarrod Stickle, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away on July 17, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Born on November 18, 1970, in Gaston County to Carolyn Brackett Wharmby and the late Edmund Stickle, Joseph lived a life filled with love and passion for family and sports.

Joseph is survived by his loving mother, Carolyn Wharmby; his life partner, Lisa Hudson; his children, Joseph Monestere, Brittany Stickle, Savannah Stickle, Jacob Stickle, Dalton Stickle, Chris Brown, and Lesly Brown; his brother, Charles Wharmby Jr.; and his cherished grandchildren, Harmony Stickle, Max Stickle, and Ryker Stickle.

In addition to his father, Edmund Stickle, Joseph is preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Wharmby. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his legacy will live on through the family he cherished.
