Joseph Paul Hathcock

Joseph Paul Hathcock passed away on Wednesday June 8, 2016 at the Jesse Helm’s Rehabilitation Center in Monroe, NC.  He was born on June 25, 1927 in Rowan County. Joe is survived by his daughter Julie Hathcock – Buffkin of Indian Trail, NC, one son Jerry Hathcock of Denver NC, four granddaughters Sabrina Williams, Stephanie Watts, Samantha Williams, and Anne Richardson. Six great grandchildren   Brycen Williams, Nathanael Adcock, Katie and Mattie Watts, Trenton and Lylah Richardson.

Mr. Hathcock was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Lenore McNeely Hathcock.  He was also retired from the US Navy and from the State of North Carolina. He loved his family and all of his grandchildren.They always brought a spark of happiness in his eyes when they would visit him. A private celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date.
