Johnny "J.R." Ray Davis Jr.

Johnny "J.R." Ray Davis, Jr., 33, of Gastonia passed away on March 25, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on November 22, 1989 to Johnny Ray Davis, Sr. and Shannon Lee Strickland.  He is preceded in death by his Papa, Charlie C. Davis, Jr.  J.R. was loved and will be remembered by all of his family, friends, and brotherhood forever.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his children, Skylar Davis and Torben Davis; grandmother, Louise Davis "GG"; aunts, Cathy Janicki (Bill) and Jean Lilley; uncle, Chuck Davis; and cousins, Chasity Silverthorn (Dalton), Leilani Dawson, Damon Horne, C.C. Davis, Robert Lee Davis, David Lilley (Courtney), Timothy Lilley, James Lilley, and Daniel Lilley.
