John Wesley Wood passed away Wednesday August 5, 2026, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
John was born on January 5, 1947, in Jackson County, NC to the late Joseph T. and Nellie Frady Wood.
John was preceded in death by his parents and a number of brothers & sisters.
Survivors include brother Joseph T. Wood Jr. (Peggy); nephew Mike Wood and a stepson Jerry Ballard.
