Jimmy Dale Cope

Jimmy Dale Cope, 74, of Belmont passed away at his residence June 4, 2018.  Jimmy was born on January 3, 1944 to the late Walter and Kathleen Fisher Cope.  He is also preceded in death by his brother, Steve Cope.  Jimmy enjoyed fishing and spending time in the mountains but he especially loved his family and grandchildren.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy Beam Cope; daughters, Sharon Goyette and husband Jeremy, and Ashley Heavener and husband Rodney; sisters, Linda Jackson and husband Robert, and Beverly Jordan and husband Mike; grandchildren, Dereck, Holden, Ian, Trevor, and Ragan; and great grandchildren, Lunden, Greyson, and Mila.

A memorial service to celebrate Jimmy's life will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly with Rev. Tim McCarn officiating.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
