Jimmy Wayne Brown

Jimmy Wayne Brown, 74, of Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Gaston County, NC, the son of the late Luther Brown and Helen Hoffman Sneed. Jimmy enjoyed motorcycles, golf, the beach, classical music, and was always working on a project. Jimmy served his Country in the United States Navy and was retired from Freightliner where he worked for over twenty years. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jason Allen Brown and an aunt, Ruby Hoffman Haines. Jimmy is survived by his long-term friends, Patty and Jim Cooper; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Victoria McWilliams; son, Justin Brown; daughter, Crystal Moore; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Peggy Mullinax; cousin, Bill; three grandchildren, Bradley, Erica, and Taylor; and two great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral and Cremation Services, Mount Holly.

A memorial service will follow at 7:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Benson Funeral and Cremation Services, officiated by Rev. Ben Smith.

Inurnment is private.
