Jewel Freeman

Jewel Elizabeth Freeman, 90, of Stanley passed away on November 18, 2021 at Novant Health Huntersville. She was born on August 14, 1931 to the late William Henry Mullis and Bertha Rumfelt Mullis. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Archie Freeman; son in law, Terry Caldwell; and half-brother Truit David Ryan.

Survivors include her daughters, Tisha Broome and husband Robert, Victoria Gross and husband Norman, Brenda Silvers and husband Reid, and Teresa Caldwell; son, Johnny Freeman and wife Wanda; grandchildren, Robert Broome Jr. and Nicholas Broome; numerous great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2:00 at Pineview Cemetery, Mt. Holly with Rev. Jason Stone officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, December 2, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral Services, Mt. Holly.
